• Head coach Mandi Maser's cheer program landed four student-athletes on the NAIA's list of 2018 Scholar-Athletes. The Bulldog honorees include two seniors and six juniors.

  • The competition season ended on Friday (Feb. 23) for the Concordia cheer squad placed ninth at the NAIA Competitive Cheer & Dance Northwest Qualifier hosted by Morningside.

  • A cheer team captained by Kennedy Garner and Kathie Nguyen placed fourth out of seven teams at Saturday's (Feb. 10) GPAC Championships hosted by Hastings inside Lynn Farrell Arena.

  • The Concordia University cheer and dance teams were in action on Feb. 3 in conjunction with the Bulldog basketball games. In dual action, Bulldog cheer got the best of the Northwestern, 72.75 to 66.

  • The first-ever Concordia Invitational Tournament cheer and dance competitions took place during the annual basketball event on Jan. 27. With a score of 56.75, the CUNE cheer squad placed second.

  • While opening up the 2018 competition season, the Concordia cheer team hosted a quadrangular inside the PE Center Gym. The Bulldogs placed second among the four GPAC schools at the event on Jan. 20.

  • The Concordia University cheer team garnered a score of 51.38 and placed 10th among the 11 squads that competed at the NAIA Northwest Cheer Regional held at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kan.

  • The Concordia University cheer team took the floor at the first ever Great Plains Athletic Conference Cheer and Dance Championships and came away with a fifth-place finish. The event was held at Hastings College on Feb. 11.

    Cheer drops dual with Doane

    Fresh off a win over Hastings in its season-opening dual, the Concordia University cheer team fell by a score of 69.55 – 67.55 in Wednesday’s matchup inside the PE Center Gym with Doane.

  • It was a historic night for the Concordia University cheer program, which competed in a dual that included stunting for the first time in school history. The Bulldogs defeated Hastings, 74.4 – 71.85.
