Concordia’s MSAA online degree program allows students to earn up to 6 credit hours through a Prior Learning Assessment. If a student has practical work experience relevant to one of the courses in our catalog, they can take a Prior Learning Assessment and earn credit for that course at 1/3 of the cost.
Concordia’s coaching degree differs from the M.S.A.A. program, in its specific focus on coaching theory, methodology and practice. While other programs may touch upon coaching as part of a broader curriculum, the Master of Science in Athletic Coaching provides a more in-depth and specialized study of coaching principles, techniques and strategies. This program is designed to prepare graduates for careers as coaches in various settings, including sports teams and educational institutions.
