An inspirational student-athlete, senior Nolan Zikas has been named the 2018 winner of the David Toms Overcoming Adversity Award. The award is presented to one collegiate male golfer in the nation each year.

The Bulldog men's golf team put the fall season in the books on Saturday. It finished ninth at the Nebraska Intercollegiate held at Norfolk Country Club in Norfolk, Neb. Nolan Zikas led Concordia individually.
Junior Tylar Samek made a move up the conference leaderboard on the second day of the GPAC championships. As a team, the Bulldogs jumped up one spot in the conference championship race.
On the opening day of the 2018-19 GPAC Men's Golf Championships, the Bulldogs came up short of their expectations. They will attempt to improve upon Monday (Sept. 24)'s 309 at Willow Run GC in Tuesday's action.
Junior Tylar Samek shot a 74 to top his team at the Midland Fall Invite on Wednesday (Sept. 19). He was one of three Bulldogs to shoot scores in the 70s. Concordia placed 13th as a team.
Nolan Zikas has gotten his senior season off to an impressive start. In his latest outing, the La Vista, Neb., native broke a program record for a 36-hole event and won the Siouxland Invite, leading to GPAC Golfer of the Week honors.
Senior Nolan Zikas had himself a tournament by breaking a school record for 36-hole score and by winning the Siouxland Invite. Zikas' event championship helped the team to a fourth-place finish.
A strong start to his senior season continues for Nolan Zikas, who shot a two-under-par 69 on the opening day of the Siouxland Invite. He leads the field of 82 heading into day two. The Bulldogs are in fourth place as a team.
