A Life Called Church Work Recruiting Weekend
Concordia University, Nebraska invites you and your family to explore our church work programs at "A Life Called" - our church work visit event on Sunday, Oct. 13 - Monday, Oct. 14, 2024
While attending "A Life Called," you will be able to:
- Learn about our five church work programs (Director of Christian Education, Director of Parish Music, Lutheran Teacher, Pre-Deaconess, Pre-Seminary),
- Sit in on church work classes and learn alongside current students,
- Engage with our church work faculty,
- Tour campus and see the residence halls, and
- Learn about financial aid opportunities.
If you are traveling from far away and will be here Sunday morning, we can provide a list of churches to visit and places to go for lunch.
Registration
Registration will be capped at 40 people.

Additional Information
- All housing, meals and activities are free for students.
- Students will be paired with a “host student” that they will stay with Sunday night. Students should bring their own pillow and a sleeping bag. If flying in, let us know so we can provide bedding.
- Mileage reimbursement can be given to groups of 3+ students.
- Admitted students who fly in can be reimbursed $200 and we can pick them up at the Lincoln or Omaha airport.
- Parents are encouraged to participate in this visit event but will need to find their own overnight accommodations. Hotel options in Seward:
