ASL Club
The CUNE ASL Club was formed in 2018 as a means to give ASL students and others interested in ASL an opportunity to practice and to connect with the local Deaf community. Regular events held by the ASL Club include these:
- Monthly/quarterly club meetings and special events (movie and trivia nights, etc.)
- Sip and Sign events (ASL students meet to sip coffee and practice conversing in ASL)
- Community breakfast events (held in Lincoln as an opportunity to connect with local Deaf individuals)
- Field trips to Millneck School for the Deaf (Long Island, NYC)
