Assistant professor of business administration Melissa Davis relishes the opportunity to serve students in Concordia Nebraska’s Christ-centered atmosphere

Melissa Davis serves at Concordia University, Nebraska as assistant professor of business administration. She has worked at the university since August 2021. Teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in marketing and business based on the needs of the department, Davis engages in student advising and internships and assistance with student recruitment and activities. 

Davis has bachelor’s degree in marketing from University of Central Missouri, a master's degree in education from University of Nebraska – Kearney and a master’s degree in business administration from Wayne State College.

Davis said her favorite thing about working at the university is making connections with the students and preparing them for careers of service and leadership.

From staff meetings and group gatherings to class discussions and beyond, she reiterated that the Christian faith is woven into everything that happens on campus

When she’s not serving on campus, Davis enjoys spending her time with family and friends, running, reading and being outdoors.
