Austin Jablonski ‘24 has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with emphasis in accounting, finance and entrepreneurship from Concordia Nebraska. He is currently a graduate student in the university’s MBA program and plays football for the Bulldogs

He served on the university leadership team as an undergraduate student for two years. He said he chose to study at Concordia University because it gave him the opportunity to make a big impact both on and off the football field.

“Concordia University is a special place because they are a Christ-centered environment that celebrates a commitment to excellence,” he said.”

Concordia has taught me that there are no shortcuts to greatness, it takes what it takes. The journey is more important than the destination and by doing things right and walking in the light, you are able to glorify God in the process.

Jablonski transferred to Concordia Nebraska from another university, because he was seeking a place where he could both enjoy playing football and obtain an outstanding business education.

“The business professors I have had at Concordia Nebraska including Todd Johnson, Dr. Curt Beck, Dr. Andrew Langewisch and Timothy Heidorn all demand excellence,” he explained. “However, their class structures are all very conversation-based and build off of their real-world experience. I think it is a significant advantage to have professors who worked in their respective fields before their careers in academia.”

Jablonski said his interactions with both peers and professors during his time at the university have made a big impact on him. After he obtains his MBA, Jablonski dreams of playing professional football and one day becoming a financial advisor.

“I've learned a lot about myself through my years at Concordia, specifically the value of doing things the right way,” he said. “Concordia has taught me that there are no shortcuts to greatness, it takes what it takes. The journey is more important than the destination and by doing things right and walking in the light, you are able to glorify God in the process.”

Earning a graduate degree in business administration from Concordia University, Nebraska equips you with the knowledge, training and experience you need to successfully develop your God-given talents for leadership and become an innovative servant-leader able to empower your team and facilitate the success of any organization you serve.
