Each year, Concordia University, Nebraska coordinates “Bulldogs on the Road” trips for alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the university. This summer, the university will host a sold-out, seven-night cruise to the Bahamas, Mexico, Grand Cayman and Jamaica.

So what’s on the calendar for 2026? The biggest Bulldogs on the Road trip to date! Concordia Nebraska faculty, staff, alumni and friends will travel to the Emerald Isle of Ireland May 13-23, 2026. The matchless 10-night land excursion will explore the bustling city of Dublin, the charming village of Killarney and the dramatic West Coast near Galway.

The trip will also include a performance by the Concordia Nebraska A Cappella Choir at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin and the opportunity to enjoy two meals with the choir.

You are invited to join us for this unforgettable trip! Whether reconnecting with old friends or making new ones, this adventure promises memories to last a lifetime.

“You are invited to join us for this unforgettable trip! Whether reconnecting with old friends or making new ones, this adventure promises memories to last a lifetime,” said Concordia Nebraska Senior Director of Outreach, Relations and Engagement Jen Furr. “This once-in-a-lifetime journey is not only a wonderful time for fellowship and friendship, it will allow us to spread the Word of God through the gift of music, sharing His love and message with people across the Emerald Isle. Through concerts and worship, the A Cappella Choir will have the chance to touch hearts, uplift spirits and represent our faith and university on an international stage.”

“The A Cappella choir performances serve as a powerful medium to share the gospel, offering an uplifting and spiritually enriching experience for those in need of encouragement,” added Furr. “Through carefully selected hymns and sacred music, these performances convey messages of hope, grace and redemption. Whether in churches, community centers, or theaters, choir music can reach individuals who may not otherwise engage with the gospel, providing comfort and inspiration through harmonized voices and meaningful lyrics. By witnessing these performances, attendees have the opportunity to reflect on faith and experience the transformative power of gospel-centered music.”
