Concordia University, Nebraska announces Sower Fellowship Nonprofit Management Certificate
Concordia University, Nebraska today announced a new customized learning experience designed for Christian business professionals aspiring to step into a leadership role at a nonprofit organization.
The Sower Fellowship Nonprofit Management Certificate prepares students as effective and ethical leaders using strategies informed by personal beliefs, ethics and morals. The program also provides strategies that address specific areas of nonprofit management that may differ from for-profit operations, such as creating and evaluating public programs, and emphasizes hands-on experience and portfolio-building through collaboration with real nonprofit organizations.
“This program equips Christian business professionals to serve and lead in the nonprofit sector,” said Justin Hoffman, Concordia Nebraska assistant director of graduate recruitment. “The Sower Fellowship Nonprofit Management Certificate experience allows participants to learn and fellowship with a community of peers who seek to learn, grow and effectively serve their communities.”
The certificate program – which will be available beginning in spring 2024 - offers participants the opportunity to take four specialized, online courses that feature knowledgeable instructors and distinctive guest experts. The 32-week program offers 12 hours of graduate credit and allows participants to not only experience impactful and timely professional development but also to enjoy fellowship and networking opportunities with like-minded participants in a unique cohort group.
Tailored to accommodate busy schedules, the affordable, virtual program begins January 8, 2024. Applications are now being accepted. The 12 hours of graduate credit available through the program is transferable to a full master’s degree.
