Concordia University, Nebraska’s Theatre Department to perform “Little Women”
Concordia University, Nebraska’s theatre department will perform the play “Little Women” in the Black Box Studio Theater in the Borland Center for Music and Theatre March 22-24.
The "Little Women” production is Kate Hamill’s adaptation of the popular 19th century novel by Louisa May Alcott. The play explores the lives of the March sisters, Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy, as they each discover what it means to grow up and be true to themselves, while conforming to or challenging societal expectations.
The play performs Friday and Saturday, March 22-23, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 24, at 2 p.m. in the Black Box Studio Theater in the Borland Center for Music and Theatre. Tickets are available in advance in the Concordia Bookstore, or at the door right before the show. Tickets are $10 for general admission, and $5 for the Concordia community.
