The lineup of art exhibitions for the 2022–2023 academic year was recently released by the Marxhausen Gallery of Art at Concordia University, Nebraska. The gallery presents several highly regarded regional and national art exhibitions each year in addition to faculty and student exhibitions.

As part of the university’s annual Plum Creek Literacy Festival, the gallery is currently showcasing a special exhibition titled “Our Voice: Celebrating the Coretta Scott King Illustrator Awards.”

"Featuring 101 award/honor-winning titles, ‘Our Voice: Celebrating the Coretta Scott King Illustrator Awards’ is the largest and most comprehensive presentation of Coretta Scott King illustrator winners and honorees ever assembled since the award was established,” said Dr. Dylan Teut, the Plum Creek Literacy Festival Director.

Admission to the gallery is free, and all exhibitions are open to the public. When classes are in session during the fall and spring semesters, the Marxhausen Gallery in Jesse Hall is open from Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
