I feel the need to be of some kind of help in some places around the world where people aren’t as fortunate as I am. I know that the world and intercultural studies major and the classes I take will help me fulfill that hope.
Dylan Pierquin is a long way from Belgium, but he’s used to traveling to different places. In fact, he hopes to make it his part of his career. “I come from a missionary family,” Dylan says, “and I feel the need to be of some kind of help in some places around the world where people aren’t as fortunate as I was and am. I know that the world and intercultural studies major and the classes I take will help me fulfill that hope.”
Even though it is so far away from home, Dylan knows he made the right choice in Concordia. “I chose Concordia because I thought it would be the best fit for me,” he says, “and because God opened every single door so that I could attend. I just followed the path that was opening up to me, trusting that it would be the right one.”
