Alyssa Pracht is an oboist based in Lincoln, Nebraska. She teaches both piano and oboe students in her private and collegiate studios and freelances in and around Nebraska. She frequently performs with Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra, the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra, and the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra. She is also the oboist of the reed trio Trio Ventorum.
Pracht earned her Bachelor of Music in oboe performance from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2019 and her Master of Music in oboe performance and literature from the Eastman School of Music in 2021. Her primary teachers were Richard Killmer, William McMullen, and Geoffrey Burgess.
Eager to serve, Pracht plays piano regularly for her church’s worship team and for other special events. In her free time, she enjoys baking, playing games, and spending time with friends and family.
