Andrew Daugherty is a pianist, organist and part-time singer living in Lincoln, Nebraska. He holds an M.A. in music from Pensacola Christian College in Florida. While pursuing his master’s degree, he was a full-time audio engineer for a local music studio. He is an accomplished accompanist with experience in the classical, sacred and liturgical repertories. Currently, he is completing the Doctor of Musical Arts in piano performance at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. From 2021 to 2023, he was a graduate teaching assistant and worked as the studio assistant for his faculty mentor, Dr. Mark Clinton.
Daugherty is a full-time instructor of piano for Marble Music Studios at its Seward and Lincoln locations. He currently teaches a personal piano studio of 45 students ranging from elementary to adult learners. In Lincoln, he is also a collaborative musician at First-Plymouth Congregational Church with music director Tom Trenney. He regularly accompanies choral and instrumental ensembles for multiple schools in Nebraska.
In August 2024, he began teaching music history at Concordia. He is thrilled to help his students grow in musicianship at a university with strong Christian faith and virtues.
