Carrie has served at Concordia University, Nebraska since 2019. She visits eleven Lutheran High Schools within a 2 ½ hour radius of St. Louis in both Missouri and Illinois. On these visits she shares the benefits of attending Concordia, Nebraska while discussing topics such as vocation and keeping the faith post graduation. She enjoys taking students to visit Concordia, Nebraska every Fall and Spring. As her job as Regional Ambassador, she also has attended many fairs, retreats, and conferences to promote the mission of Concordia, Nebraska.
Carrie graduated from Concordia, Nebraska in 1997 with a Lutheran Teacher's Degree and a BS in Elementary Education. She taught 10 years in Iowa, Missouri, and Illinois before becoming a Stay at Home Mom for her four children. She currently adds Youth Group Leader, Substitute Teacher, and Swim Coach to her busy schedule. She is married to Aaron Kober and they enjoy keeping up with their kid's sports and other activities.
