Eric Wallace is a cellist living in Seward, Nebraska. He frequently performs in worship services and wedding ceremonies at St. John Lutheran Church.
Growing up in California, he studied with Ira Lehn, performed in a master class with Jan-Erik Gustafsson and won the Modesto Symphony Youth Orchestra’s concerto competition in 2001. He was principal cellist with two collegiate orchestras, numerous string ensembles and the occasional pit orchestra. While a student at Concordia University, Nebraska, he performed with the Chamber Choir, the Handbell Choir, string ensembles and pit orchestras.
In his free time, Wallace is completing an M.A. in philosophy and coaching debate at Trinity Academy at Concordia University. He and his wife Lacy have three children, one of whom is Eric’s youngest cello student.
