Jesse Wohlman is a baritone based in Omaha, Nebraska. He has worked with a wide range of organizations, including the BlueBarn Theatre, the Rose Theater, Opera Omaha, the Nebraska Opera Project, the vocal chamber ensemble Résonance, the Ollie Webb Center, the Steamboat Symphony Orchestra, the Omaha Symphony and the Lincoln Crossroads Music Festival.
Wohlman received a Bachelor of Arts in music from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2013 and a Master of Music in vocal performance from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2016. His academic interests lie in the study and performance of German Lieder and the art song literature of languages not typically included in the standard repertory, such as Turkish, Ukrainian and Afrikaans.
In his free time, Jesse is a hobby beekeeper and produces his own honey that he calls Leopold’s Liquid Gold (after his dog, Leopold).
