Pete grew up in Minnesota and left the land of 10,000 lakes to attend Concordia University, Nebraska where he met his wife, Beth, who is a Nebraska native. After graduating from Concordia in 1988 and teaching seventh grade for seven years, Pete returned to his alma mater and has served Concordia since 1995. He worked in the admission office recruiting prospective students for almost ten years before moving to his current position in advancement. Pete and Beth have been blessed with four children, who are all Concordia alums, and six grandchildren. When he is not working, Pete enjoys putzing on projects in and out of the home, spending time at their cabin with family, and an occasional cruise or vacation on the beach.
Pete greatly enjoys building relationships with alumni and friends across the country to help fund, support and fulfill the mission and further the vision of Concordia University, Nebraska.
"I firmly believe that through the Concordia experience, we are sending students out into the world that will grow God’s kingdom a variety of ways."
