My favorite thing about the Christian education leadership program is the enthusiasm of the professors. There is nothing better than having great role models to look up to as we embark on the education journey.

“My favorite thing about the education program so far is the enthusiasm of the professors,” says Lutheran Teacher Diploma and English major Emily Sievert. “It seems simple and obvious, but it is so instrumental to building us up as students who want to help future students. There is nothing better than having great role models to look up to as we embark on the education journey.”

That level of dedication and enthusiasm carries over into other aspects of Concordia’s community as well. “The environment of Concordia is unique,” Emily says. “It may be a small college, but it has so many opportunities. You can travel, you can nurture your faith, you can study under teachers who genuinely care about you as a person who they want to see succeed. It’s a lot like a big family. You meet some of the greatest people there, and you learn how to serve those around you. It goes beyond the fun college experience and give you one that benefits you for a lifetime.”
