SEWARD, Neb. – Concordia University, Nebraska Athletics and KTMX Max Country have announced the radio broadcast schedule for the fall 2024 semester. For the 10th year in a row, Max Country will air live broadcasts for Bulldog football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and volleyball. In addition, a weekly coaches show will be featured every Thursday at 5:30 p.m. CT, beginning with the season’s first show on Aug. 22. The broadcast schedule for the spring 2025 semester will be announced at a later date.

Fans of the Bulldogs can find Max Country by tuning the radio dial to 104.9 FM, by downloading the station’s mobile app or by streaming via https://ruralradio.com/maxcountry/. KTMX/KAWL Sports Director Parker Cyza returns this year to host the Bulldog Coaches Show while serving as the play-by-play voice of Concordia Football and Basketball. Cyza will be joined by Nebraska Football Hall of Famer Ross Wurdeman in the football booth and by Director of Athletics Devin Smith for home basketball. Meanwhile, Frank Greene is back for his 10th season as the voice of Concordia Volleyball. Bulldog alum Katie Funk will return alongside Greene for volleyball broadcasts.

The partnership between Concordia and Max Country began in 2015-16. Max Country operates under the umbrella of the Nebraska Rural Radio Association. Tim Marshall serves as the CEO of the organization and played a starring role, along with Concordia Athletics leadership Devin Smith and Angela Muller, in bringing the Bulldogs to the radio airwaves. Anthony Jacobsen is the Station Manager. This feature story HERE took a look at how the partnership first took hold.
