SEWARD, Neb. – For their performances throughout the calendar month, senior Austin Jablonski of the football program and junior Kristin Vieselmeyer of the women’s basketball program have been selected as the Bulldog Athletic Association Member Athletes of the Month (BAAM) for November 2024. The winners emerged from a vote conducted on Tuesday (Dec. 10) with attendees at the BAAM luncheon. Jablonski led Concordia Football to one of its greatest all-time seasons while Vieselmeyer continues her junior season on the hardwood.

A Lincoln, Neb., native and Lincoln Pius X High School alum, Jablonski enjoyed another First Team All-GPAC campaign while wrapping up his Bulldog career. During November, Jablonski totaled 14 receptions for 280 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for 76 yards and a touchdown in two November games. In those outings, the Bulldogs pummeled rivals Hastings, 42-6, and Midland, 45-13. Jablonski was named the GPAC Offensive Player of the Week following the win over the Broncos. On the year, Jablonski racked up 76 receptions for 1,106 yards and 10 touchdowns while rushing for one score. On the program’s all-time lists, Jablonski ranks second in receptions (203), second in receiving yards (2,723) and fourth in receiving touchdowns (21). Jablonski is a two-time First Team All-GPAC selection and was tabbed a 2023 Second Team All-American by the Associated Press. On Dec. 8, Jablonski played in the FCS Bowl, an event that provides exposure to professional scouts.

The third Vieselmeyer sister to compete as a student-athlete at Concordia, Kristin is in her second season as a starter for a women’s basketball program coming off a trip to the NAIA national tournament final site this past March. During November, Vieselmeyer averaged 8.9 points and 3.1 rebounds per game and shot 47.4 percent (21-for-44) from the field, 50 percent (7-for-14) from 3-point range and 86.7 percent (13-for-15) from the foul line. The Holyoke, Colo., native and Holyoke High School alum turned in a career-high effort at No. 1 Dordt on Nov. 23 when she posted 27 points while making 9-of-15 shots from the floor. Her season high of nine rebounds came on Nov. 2 versus then 10th-ranked Southern Oregon. In 75 career collegiate games, Vieselmeyer has produced 438 points and 229 rebounds. She is averaging 8.8 points and 3.0 rebounds per contest in 2024-25.
