Katz, Quinn chosen as BAAM Athletes of the Month for March 2025

SEWARD, Neb. – For their performances throughout the calendar month, diamond standouts Jennifer Katz and Jaidan Quinn have been selected as the Bulldog Athletics Association Member Athletes (BAAM) of the Month for March 2025. The winners emerged from a vote conducted on Tuesday (April 8) among attendees at the BAAM luncheon. BAAM luncheons are held every Tuesday at 12 p.m. CT at the Dog House Grill when classes are in session.

A senior from Omaha, Neb., Katz sizzled during the month of March for a softball program on the rise. Over 18 games in March, Katz batted .423 (22-for-52) with 15 runs scored, eight doubles, two triples, a home run, 15 RBIs and seven stolen bases. She also sported a .475 on-base percentage and .712 slugging percentage for the month. During that stretch, Katz reached 100 hits for her collegiate career. Head Coach Brock Culler’s squad posted a record of 13-5 in March. This 2025 season, Katz is hitting .402 with 11 doubles, four triples, three home runs, 23 RBIs and 10 stolen bases. She sports a .459 on-base percentage and .691 slugging percentage and has recorded eight outfield assists. Over two seasons as a Bulldog, Katz has tallied 74 hits, 47 runs scored, 49 RBIs, 17 doubles, seven triples, five home runs and 19 stolen bases while hitting .327 in 80 games.

A senior from Bonner Springs, Kan., Quinn is putting the finishing touches on one of the greatest careers ever by a Concordia Baseball player. The returning NAIA First Team All-American shined in March as he hit .333 (21-for-63) with 23 runs scored, five doubles, 12 home runs and 33 RBIs to go along with a .543 on-base percentage and .984 slugging percentage. On March 28, Quinn equaled Joey Grabanski for a program career record 88 home runs and was honored as GPAC Player of the Week as a result. Quinn helped Head Coach Ryan Dupic’s squad to a 16-5 record in March. On the season, Quinn leads the GPAC in home runs (15), RBIs (44) and slugging percentage (.843). In his impeccable career, Quinn has tallied 88 home runs, 248 runs, 234 hits and 249 RBIs with a slash line of .356 / .520 / .828 (BA / OBP / SLG). Quinn shared the GPAC Player of the Year award with Grabanski in 2024.

BAAM Athletes of the Month are rewarded out of the pool of student-athletes that garner BAAM Athlete of the Week recognition throughout the month.
