SEWARD, Neb. – In conjunction with NAIA National Awards Day on Tuesday (Sept. 15), 20 Concordia University, Nebraska Athletics programs have earned NAIA Scholar Teams distinction for the 2025-26 academic year. The award honors teams that achieve a minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the nominating institution.
The Scholar-Team awards are another marker of a successful 2025-26 year for Concordia University, Nebraska Athletics. During the summer Concordia was recognized as a Champions of Character® Five-Star Gold Award winner for the 2025-26 academic year. This past year, the department also posted all-sports place finishes of second in the GPAC and 27th in the NAIA Learfield Cup Standings. Academically, 220 Bulldog student-athletes were named NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

· 17 Bulldog teams placed within the top four of their respective conference standings.
· Appearances in six GPAC tournament championship games.
· Appearances in 14 separate national championship events.
· 220 NAIA Scholar-Athlete Awards (six shy of the school record set in 2019-20).
· 60 Academic All-District Award Winners, as selected by College Sports Communicators.
· 9 Academic All-Americans, as selected by College Sports Communicators.
