NAIA Awards Day (Sept. 16) Webpage
SEWARD, Neb. – In conjunction with the 2024 NAIA National Awards Day celebrated on Monday (Sept. 16), 20 Concordia University, Nebraska Athletics programs were honored with 2023-24 NAIA Scholar Team distinction. The award is earned by teams that achieve a minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the nominating institution. The full list of Bulldog programs that achieved 2023-24 NAIA Scholar Team is included below.
As part of the 2023-24 athletics season, Director of Athletics Devin Smith was named the GPAC AD of the Year and Concordia claimed the GPAC All-Sports Championship Trophy for the fifth time in school history. In addition to the 20 NAIA Scholar Teams, 204 individual Bulldog athletes earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete awards and 51 student-athletes were named Academic All-District honorees by College Sports Communicators (CSC). Ten Bulldogs were also tabbed Academic All-Americans by CSC.
