January 10^th Pitching Camp

Ages:              9^th-12^th Grade
Time:              1:00-3:00     
Location:      Walz Fieldhouse
Cost:               $45

The Concordia University Baseball coaching staff and select players will provide all camp attendees with pitching instruction.  Areas of focus provided for each camp member will be arm health, velocity development, throwing mechanics, lower-half mechanics, athletic throwing drills, proper warm up and arm care exercises, and developing individualized throwing programs for pitchers.  Each camp member will get an individualized video analysis.  Parents and/or coaches are encouraged to attend (free of charge) to have the opportunity to ask questions or listen and watch all demonstrations, drills, and interactions between the Concordia coaches/players and camp attendees.

 January 10^th Hitting Camp (for position players only)

Ages:              9^th-12^th Grade

Location:      Indoor Hitting Facility (Annex)
Cost:               $45

The Concordia University Baseball coaching staff and select players will provide all camp attendees with hitting instruction.  Areas of focus provided for each player will be increasing contact, power (exit velocity), lower half mechanics and swing path.  A hitting/offensive presentation will be included, and smaller groups will be utilized to ensure many repetitions for each camp member.  Parents and/or coaches are encouraged to attend (free of charge) to have the opportunity to ask questions or listen and watch all demonstrations, drills, and interactions between the Concordia coaches/players and camp attendees.

 Note: To ensure appropriate group sizes, this hitting camp is for camp members who are not participating in the pitching camp.

 January 10^th Defensive Camp

Ages:              9^th-12^th Grade
Time:              3:00-4:30
Location:      Walz Fieldhouse
Cost:               $45

 The Concordia University Baseball coaching staff and select players will provide all camp attendees with defensive instruction.  Camp members will have the opportunity to choose their area of focus (catching, infield, outfield), and will be taught drills and exercises to improve in each facet.  The Walz Fieldhouse facility will provide expansive space to create opportunities for a full infield, as well as significant space for outfield and catching instruction.  Parents and/or coaches are encouraged to attend (free of charge) to have the opportunity to ask questions or listen and watch all demonstrations, drills, and interactions between the Concordia coaches/players and camp attendees.
