Updated Concordia Baseball Record Book

SEWARD, Neb. – Another season of elite offensive production from the Concordia University Baseball program saw the likes of Jay Adams, Joey Grabanski and Jaidan Quinn continue to rewrite the school record book. A summary of the new program standards, both career and single season, is provided below. The most attention came the way of Grabanski as he broke the NAIA national all-time records for career home runs (88) and RBIs (300). Grabanski and Quinn shared GPAC Player of the Year accolades.

Grabanski leads the way for Concordia in each of the triple crown categories, including all-time batting average (.382). Meanwhile, Adams left his mark on the program as its all-time record holder in five major categories, including career hits (352). That figure is only 21 hits shy of the NAIA career record of 373. As a team, the Bulldogs again flew past 100 home runs and fell just shy of 500 runs scored. Concordia slashed an impressive .326 / .435 / .569 for the year.

From a pitching perspective, Christian Gutierrez and Caden Johnson vaulted up the school’s career lists while eating up innings in 2024. Johnson enjoyed one of the most statistically productive careers ever for Bulldog pitchers. Out of the bullpen, Jacob Lycan has made more appearances than all but two pitchers in the history of the program.
