SEWARD, Neb. – Bulldog baseball is set to begin on Feb. 13 in Lindsborg, Kan. when the team will take on Bethany College for a four game series spanning over two days. After setting the school record for wins in a single season in his first year at 26 wins, coach Ryan Dupic’s team will appear in 16 games at home.
Featured early in the schedule, the Bulldogs will travel to Tucson, Ariz. to compete in 10 games in five days. The spring break trip is slated for March 5 through March 11. CUNE will face a weekend of champions in April when they open GPAC play. The GPAC tournament champions, Dakota Wesleyan will visit on April 2 while the regular season champions, Briar Cliff, will battle with the Bulldogs April 3 at Seward. Both the Tigers and Chargers appeared in the NAIA Baseball National Championship.
The 55 game schedule will showcase 10 double headers against GPAC competitors. The regular season will wrap up April 29 at home against Nebraska Wesleyan. GPAC tournament play opens up May 5 and will go on through May 10.
