2022: Senior
Appeared in 14 games (two starts) on the mound ... recorded a 4.32 ERA while covering 16.2 innings ... allowed 10 runs (eight earned) on 16 hits and 12 walks ... racked up 31 strikeouts and held opposing hitters to a .246 batting average.

2021: Junior
Stepped to the mound in 18 games ... threw 26.2 innings owning a 4-1 win/loss record and notching 1 save ... totaled 48 strikouts and 17 walks while allowing a .248 batting average to opposing batters ... longest outing of the year came at Northwestern College throwing 3.2 innings giving up one run, zero earned runs, six hits, eight strikeouts and one walk. 

2020: Sophomore
Appeared four times, including two starts on the mound ... threw 10.2 innings ... tossed two scoreless innings of relief at Baker on March 3.

2019: Freshman
Made five appearances on the mound and covered 10 innings ... logged two or more innings four separate times.

High School
Shane Whittaker played under Coach Jeff Dufek and coach Desi at San Marcos High School. Shane was a three year letter, three year starter for the Knights. He was voted captain for one year. Freshman year he was awarded Offensive MVP, Sophomore year he was second Team All-League, Junior Year he was Second Team All-CIF, All-League Pitcher of the Year, Senior year, Second Team All-League, First no hitter in San Marcos High School. He also played freshman football.

Shane was born in Grossmont, California to Joh and Cristy Whittaker. He has two siblings: Chase and Katie Whittaker.
