• There were plenty of defensive miscues on a breezy day in Seward, but the Bulldogs found a way to end the regular season with a pair of wins. Concordia defeated Dakota Wesleyan by scores of 5-1 and 10-9 on Sunday (April 29).

  • Nick Little has stated a pretty convincing case to be named GPAC pitcher of the year. His latest outing was another gem that allowed the Bulldogs to clinch a spot in the conference tournament.

  • Defensive woes and lack of offensive punch were the story in a pair of losses to Midland on Wednesday (April 25). On the bright side, the Concordia bullpen threw eight innings of scoreless ball.

  • A red-hot week at the plate allowed junior Thomas Sautel to rake in GPAC player of the week accolades. He's the fourth Bulldog to earn a weekly award from the conference this season.

  • The regular season will wind down with three more home doubleheaders for the Concordia baseball team, which has hopes of rising up the GPAC standings. The seniors will be honored on Saturday.

    Walk-off Sunday

    In a wild Sunday at Plum Creek Park, the Bulldogs (22-17, 10-10 GPAC) celebrated two walk-off wins over Doane. Concordia rallied from a 5-0 deficit in game one and ended up taking three of four in the weekend series.

    Meza spurs game one win at Doane

    Christian Meza went 4-for-4 in leading a game one victory over Doane in Saturday's (April 21) doubleheader in Crete. The Bulldogs (20-17, 8-10 GPAC) and Tigers will complete a four-game series on Sunday.

  • The Bulldog bats delivered 23 runs on 25 hits, including six home runs in a doubleheader split at Briar Cliff on Friday (April 20). Concordia won a lopsided first game with the help of pitcher Neil Ryan.

  • A doubleheader scheduled to take place on Wednesday (April 18) between Concordia and Briar Cliff has been postponed. The two sides have agreed on a Friday (April 20) makeup date with first pitch at 1 p.m. in Sioux City.
