    Bats quieted in Fremont

An offense that had been averaging more than 8.0 runs per game went quiet in Fremont on Tuesday (March 27). The Bulldogs scored only twice while getting swept by Midland in a doubleheader.

  • A 7-for-10 performance in last week's doubleheader sweep allowed second baseman Christian Meza to earn GPAC player of the week accolades. Meza tops the conference with a .470 batting average.

  • The defending GPAC champions will have a better idea where they stand within the conference by week's end. The Bulldogs are slated to play three GPAC doubleheaders, including one at home.

    Baseball postpones Sunday twin bill

The Concordia baseball program has announced the postponement of Sunday's scheduled doubleheader versus Morningside. The two sides will instead meet Tuesday, April 10 in Sioux City, Iowa.

  • Due to wet conditions at Plum Creek Park, Concordia's scheduled Wednesday baseball game versus Kansas Wesleyan has been canceled. A makeup date has not been announced.

  • Wade Council has pulled off a rare feat by doubling up on GPAC weekly honors. He has been named the conference's player and pitcher of the week after leading Concordia to a 3-1 road trip.

  • After a successful road trip, the Concordia baseball team is ready to make its first home appearance of 2018. The Bulldogs are set to host on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday while opening up conference play.

  • Wade Council tossed a three-hit shutout, the bats exploded for seven runs in the third and the Bulldogs pummeled College of the Ozarks, 10-0, on Sunday (March 18). The win marked the 100th in Ryan Dupic's coaching career.
