Concordia broke loose with 31 runs on 18 hits and 18 walks in a 31-8 win over the University of Winnipeg on Monday (March 6). The Bulldogs are now 4-1 halfway through their road trip in Tucson, Ariz.
Christian Montero enjoyed a 4-for-7 day at the plate and the Concordia baseball team earned a doubleheader split with 16th-ranked Jamestown at the Tucson Invitational. The Bulldogs are 3-1 on the current 10-game trip.
Kaleb Geiger belted his second and third home runs of the young season and Concordia swept a doubleheader from Grand View in action that took place in Tucson, Ariz. Nick Little and Josh Prater tossed complete games.
While completing a four-game weekend series at Bethany College, the Bulldog baseball team fell by scores of 18-6 and 5-4 in Lindsborg, Kan., on Sunday. Concordia went 1-3 on its season-opening trip.
Nick Little went eight strong innings and Concordia outlasted Bethany in a 12-inning, season-opening affair in Lindsborg, Kan. The Bulldogs dropped one-run decision in the capper as part of the doubleheader split.
