• The arm of Jake Fosgett and the thunderous bat of Jesse Garcia helped lift Concordia to a doubleheader sweep of Dakota Wesleyan on Sunday (March 24). The Bulldogs broke a school record by hitting seven homers in game two.

  • The location of Sunday's baseball doubleheader versus Dakota Wesleyan has been changed from Mitchell, S.D., to Brandon, S.D. The twin bill will be staged at Aspen Park.

  • The stars of the day included the likes of Jason Munsch and Sasha Jabusch on the mound and Evan Bohman and Wade Council at the plate. Their efforts helped the Bulldogs to a doubleheader sweep of Mount Marty.

  • In order to avoid potential inclement weather, Concordia and Mount Marty have agreed to play their doubleheader on Friday (March 22) instead of Saturday. The Bulldogs are set to open up GPAC play in Yankton.

  • Due to road closures caused by flooding, Midland was prevented from traveling to play in Topeka, Kan., for the scheduled GPAC four-game series this weekend (March 16-17). Makeup dates are to be determined.

  • Two more games against NCAA Division II opponents took place in Tucson, Ariz., on Saturday (March 9) as the Bulldogs ended their road trip. They hit four home runs in a win over Southwest Minnesota State.

  • The Bulldogs experienced both ends of the spectrum in a Tucson doubleheader with Mount Marty on Friday (March 8). Jake Fosgett threw a shutout in a 7-0 win before the Lancers bounced back for a 19-5 decision.

  • Mistakes here and there cost Concordia in a doubleheader versus Presentation at the Tucson Invite on Thursday (March 7). The Bulldogs (4-8) fell by scores of 6-5 and 3-1.

  • Up against two more NCAA Division II opponents, the Bulldogs came up short on Monday (March 4). CUNE hitters produced 11 runs on the day while Treyton Nixon pitched solidly in relief.

  • Concordia got contributions from a variety of players and 13 innings from its starting pitchers while sweeping a doubleheader from Waldorf on Sunday (March 3). The Bulldogs won by scores of 9-5 and 6-4.
