Concordia men's basketball has won three-straight meetings with Doane. The Bulldogs hope to make it four in a row when they play in Crete on Tuesday (Nov. 22). Concordia is 1-2 in GPAC play.

Concordia sizzled on Saturday, shooting 59.7 percent from the floor in continuing an early-season theme of efficient offensive play. Hot shooting helped the Bulldogs blow away Mount Marty, 102-69.

On Saturday, Concordia men's basketball returns to Walz Arena, where it is 3-0 so far this season. The Bulldogs seek their first GPAC win of the campaign while up against Mount Marty.

The play of freshmen Clay Reimers and Tanner Shuck helped Concordia cut into a large second-half deficit. However, host and 21st-ranked Midland held off the Bulldogs, 87-77, on Wednesday.

Chandler Folkerts went 16-for-17 from the field last week and helped lead an upset of 17th-ranked York College. On Tuesday the GPAC named him the conference's player of the week.

The senior trio of Seth Curran, Chandler Folkerts and Eli Ziegler combined for 63 points to power a 91-77 upset of 17th-ranked York College on Saturday afternoon. Folkerts had a game high 25 points and eight boards.

Concordia made a late push with a 24-7 run down the stretch, but it wasn't enough to dig out of an 18-point hole at Northwestern. The Red Raiders won, 89-87, in Wednesday's GPAC opener.

Behind three scorers with 18 or more points, Concordia toppled Oklahoma Wesleyan, 100-89, in the final game of the 17th annual Cattle Classic. The Bulldogs (3-1) capped a perfect 2-0 weekend at home.

Chandler Folkerts went for a double-double in leading the Bulldogs to a victory over Waldorf as part of the 17th annual Cattle Classic. Eli Ziegler also chipped in 17 points during Friday's action.

Bulldog fans can get a first look at the 2016-17 men's basketball team this weekend at the annual Cattle Classic. Coach Ben Limback's group will take on Waldorf University and Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
