    Bulldogs fall on day one of CIT

    Despite a 24-point outing from Brevin Sloup, the Bulldogs were tripped up, 86-70, by Concordia-Wisconsin in Friday (Jan. 25)'s action at CIT in Ann Arbor. CUNE now drops to the consolation game.

  • It took a while to get things going, but the Bulldogs ultimately pulled away for a 70-53 win over visiting Doane on Wednesday (Jan. 23). CUNE will enter CIT having won four of five games.

  • A three-games-in-four-days stretch awaits the Bulldogs, who will welcome Doane to town on Wednesday night before traveling to Ann Arbor, Mich., for the 68th rendition of the Concordia Invitational Tournament.

    Win streak ended at three

    The three-game GPAC win streak ended with a thud at No. 21 Jamestown. The Jimmies shot 59.3 percent from the floor while rattling off a 95-68 win in North Dakota on Saturday (Jan. 19).

  • The second half was a complete domination by the Concordia men's basketball team, which held Midland to just 15 points over the final 20 minutes. The Bulldogs picked up a 66-51 victory for their third-straight win.

  • A career high 33 points in last week's upset of No. 7 Briar Cliff led to junior Brevin Sloup being named the GPAC Player of the Week, as announced on Tuesday (Jan. 15). Sloup's is the team's first weekly honoree this season.

  • Led by Tanner Shuck and Brevin Sloup, the Bulldogs just enjoyed their best week of the 2018-19 season. Now Concordia looks to keep that momentum going in games against Midland and Jamestown.

  • This was the Brevin Sloup game. His impressive second half paved the way for the Bulldogs to upset seventh-ranked Briar Cliff, 102-92, on Saturday (Jan. 12). It was the team's best offensive performance this season.
