• Jake Hornick nearly came up with a triple-double (20 points, nine assists, eight rebounds) while spurring the Bulldogs (5-1) to a GPAC-opening win over Midland on Wednesday (Nov. 15).

  • After winning four of its first five nonconference games, Concordia is set to open up GPAC play at home when Midland visits Walz on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will also travel to No. 10 Dakota Wesleyan on Saturday.

  • Another big day for Clay Reimers (18 points, eight rebounds) wasn't quite enough for the Bulldogs (4-1) to keep an unbeaten record intact. Concordia fell to No. 16 Tabor, 82-77, on Saturday (Nov. 11).

  • Clay Reimers (19 points, 10 rebounds) put up a double-double while fueling a second half roll that carried Concordia to a 79-75 win at Sterling College on Friday (Nov. 10). The Bulldogs are off to a 4-0 start.

  • Behind budding sophomores Jake Hornick and Clay Reimers, both named to the All-Cattle Classic team, the Bulldog men's basketball team is off to a 3-0 start. Concordia defeated Evangel, 75-69, on Saturday (Nov. 4).

  • Clay Reimers and a host of talented sophomores got white hot in the second half and buried visiting Mount Marty within a storm of 3-pointers and authoritative dunks. The Bulldogs won, 96-81, on Friday (Nov. 3).

  • Coming off a fifth-place GPAC finish in 2016-17, the Concordia men's basketball program has been pegged to place eighth this winter. The Bulldogs begin their season Oct. 30 with a trip to Kansas Wesleyan.
