• In a game with many twists and turns, the Bulldogs saw an 11-point first half lead transition into an 11-point deficit late in the second half. Concordia rallied behind a season high 28 points from Gage Smith before coming up short of Dordt, 74-71.

  • A 15-0 blitz to open the game carried the Bulldogs to a breezy 91-63 win at Midland on Wednesday (Feb. 1). The trio of Brad Bennett, Noah Schutte and Garrett Seagren combined for 60 points and Gage Smith was just shy of a triple-double.

  • The high of winning the CIT carries the Bulldogs back into the stretch run of conference play. Concordia gained steam last week by winning three times at home. Now it looks forward to a road trip to Midland and a home game with Dordt.

  • Zac Kulus emerged with a breakout game that featured five 3-point field goals in the final 10:20 of game time. His flurry buried visiting Concordia Chicago as the Bulldogs won, 89-70, in Friday (Jan. 27)'s final CIT game.

  • Noah Schutte celebrated his birthday on Wednesday (Jan. 25) by leading a steamrolling of Hastings, 80-42. Schutte outscored the Broncos by himself in the opening half on his way to a 23-point night for the Bulldogs (12-9, 8-7 GPAC).

  • The week of CIT will feature wall-to-wall basketball inside Friedrich Arena. On the men's side the Bulldogs will attempt to add to their 28 all-time CIT titles. First thing's first, CUNE will focus on Wednesday's GPAC matchup with Hastings.

  • The road was unkind on Saturday (Jan. 21) as the Bulldogs quickly fell behind and never recovered at Northwestern. The Red Raiders coasted to a 79-65 win while evening the season series. Concordia slipped to 11-9 overall, 7-7 GPAC.
