Another week of one road game and one home game within the GPAC presents itself this week for the Bulldogs, who remain in the hunt near the top of the conference standings.

In their first home appearance in a month, the Bulldogs followed Carter Kent, Gage Smith and Justin Wiersema to an 81-70 victory over Jamestown on Saturday (Jan. 9).

In a rematch of the 2020 GPAC championship game, Dakota Wesleyan's defensive tenacity got the better of Concordia in a 70-64 decision at the Corn Palace on Wednesday (Jan. 6).

Fresh off an overtime win at Northwestern, the Bulldogs face another significant road test with a trip to No. 18 Dakota Wesleyan. Concordia will also host Jamestown this week.

Neither team ever got comfortable in a closely contested overtime grinder on Saturday (Jan. 2). The Bulldogs got key contributions off the bench and edged Northwestern, 81-74.

The second half proved to be 20 minutes of frustration for the Bulldogs, who let an 11-point halftime lead melt away on Wednesday (Dec. 30). Peru State emerged with a 70-62 win.

Road clashes with Peru State and Northwestern are coming up on this week's docket as the Bulldogs resume action. Concordia is 7-3 in the GPAC halfway through league play.

Concordia had its chances to close out a second GPAC road win of the week, but it failed to seal the deal. Mason Walters and Jamestown claimed an 89-87 win in overtime.

Host Midland had few answers for how the Bulldogs executed offensively on Tuesday (Dec. 15). Carter Kent led the way with 21 points as Concordia won at Midland, 95-81.

The Concordia University Men’s Basketball team will look to grab a pair of victories during its final road trip before Christmas break. Head Coach Ben Limback’s squad will be at Midland on Tuesday before making the trek up north to take on Jamestown this Friday.
