• After a disappointing outing on Wednesday, the 23rd-ranked Bulldogs got loose in transition on Saturday (Jan. 8) on the way to an 88-71 home win over Dakota Wesleyan. Carter Kent led a group of four double-figure scorers with 19 points.

  • Even a 35-point night from Carter Kent couldn't save the 23rd-ranked Bulldogs in Yankton on Wednesday (Jan. 5). Concordia saw its four-game league win streak snapped in the 70-67 overtime loss at Mount Marty.

  • In a game played at a much slower pace than three days earlier, the 23rd-ranked Bulldogs got it done by getting tough on the defensive end. Justin Wiersema and company held Doane to 33.9 percent shooting in the 60-50 New Year's Day win.

  • From start to finish, Concordia was on its game on the offensive end while earning a 91-82 win at Ottawa on Wednesday (Dec. 29). Five Bulldogs (13-3) reached double scorers on a night when the visitors shot 54 percent from the floor.

  • It will be back to business this week for the 23rd-ranked Bulldogs, who are slated to play at Ottawa on Wednesday and then host Doane on New Year's Day. Concordia has been idle since a win over Rochester in Daytona Beach.
