    Top-ranked team squelches win streak

    The program's longest win streak in 10 years came to a conclusion at the hands of No. 1 Morningside on Wednesday (Jan. 22). Sam Scarpelli and Brevin Sloup combined for 39 points in the 85-72 defeat.

    Sloup, Dawgs make it seven in a row

    Brevin Sloup went wild in the second half while eclipsing 1,000 career points for the red hot Bulldogs. Sloup and fellow senior Tanner Shuck combined for 43 points in spurring an 83-72 win at Briar Cliff on Saturday (Jan. 18).

  • Following a mid-week bye, the Bulldogs will return to action on Saturday at Briar Cliff with hopes of extending an active six-game win streak. Concordia has not won at Briar Cliff since February 2009.

  • The win streak has grown to six for the Bulldogs, who were led by the season high 26 points produced by Tanner Shuck on Saturday (Jan. 11). Concordia shot 52.4 percent from the floor while defeating Jamestown, 86-74.

  • The vibe is overwhelmingly positive inside the Concordia locker room. The Bulldogs jumped on top of Hastings early and ran away with an 83-62 win over the Broncos on Wednesday (Jan. 8). Five Concordia players reached double figures.
