    Win streak ended at three

The three-game GPAC win streak ended with a thud at No. 21 Jamestown. The Jimmies shot 59.3 percent from the floor while rattling off a 95-68 win in North Dakota on Saturday (Jan. 19).

  • The second half was a complete domination by the Concordia men's basketball team, which held Midland to just 15 points over the final 20 minutes. The Bulldogs picked up a 66-51 victory for their third-straight win.

  • A career high 33 points in last week's upset of No. 7 Briar Cliff led to junior Brevin Sloup being named the GPAC Player of the Week, as announced on Tuesday (Jan. 15). Sloup's is the team's first weekly honoree this season.

  • Led by Tanner Shuck and Brevin Sloup, the Bulldogs just enjoyed their best week of the 2018-19 season. Now Concordia looks to keep that momentum going in games against Midland and Jamestown.

  • This was the Brevin Sloup game. His impressive second half paved the way for the Bulldogs to upset seventh-ranked Briar Cliff, 102-92, on Saturday (Jan. 12). It was the team's best offensive performance this season.

  • Facing a double-digit deficit in the second half, Tanner Shuck spearheaded a thrilling comeback that culminated with the Grand Island native sinking the game-winning 3-point shot. Concordia won at Hastings, 87-84.

  • A Bulldog squad that has revamped its rotation in recent action has two more opportunities for a conference win this week. Tanner Shuck is on the cusp of becoming the 30th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points.

  • A 28-10 run to close the first half proved to be the difference in Northwestern emerging from Walz Arena with a 76-59 win on Saturday (Jan. 5). Tanner Shuck topped the Bulldogs with 13 points.

  • Brevin Sloup and a host of freshmen led Concordia all the way back from a 20-point deficit, only to see host Dordt pull away late. The Defenders shot 60 percent and won, 91-73, on Wednesday night (Jan. 2).
