OLATHE, Kan. – As part of a second-straight duals competition, Concordia University, Nebraska Competitive Cheer posted a season best score on Saturday (Feb. 15). The Bulldogs split their pair of duals at the MidAmerica Nazarene University Duals, falling to the host school in dual No. 1 before defeating Benedictine College (Kan.) in dual No. 2 in Olathe, Kan. Concordia earned respective scores of 75.47 and 77.15 and placed fifth overall out of eight NAIA squads at the meet.
The event marked the fourth competition of the season for Head Coach Emilie Ashenbach’s squad. The Bulldogs have won three of their four duals in 2025.
“Today was a great example of resilience and growth,” Ashenbach said. “Our first performance had some challenges, but we came back stronger in the second and hit the routine the way we know we can. I’m so proud of the way this team pushes forward and supports each other. Next week, we take on Dordt, and we’re going to keep building toward a clean, confident routine.”
