The 2023 competition schedule for Concordia Cheer has been unveiled. The Bulldogs will begin the season by hosting a dual with Morningside on Jan. 18. It will be one of seven regular season events.

A record breaking season for Concordia Competitive Cheer concluded on Saturday (Feb. 26) as the Bulldogs placed fourth in the GPAC while led by all-conference performer Shelby Timmerman. The competition took place in Crete.
It’s championship week for the Concordia Competitive Cheer team. The 2022 GPAC Championship competition (also a group qualifier for dance) will unfold on Friday for dance and on Saturday for cheer.
While hosting a six-team cheer field, Concordia fell at the hands of Dickinson State before defeating Waldorf on Saturday (Feb. 19). Coach Mandi Maser’s team posted scores of 75.80 and 74.55 on the day.
After hosting invitationals for each of the previous three seasons, the Concordia Cheer program will host its first-ever largescale dual competition when action gets started on Saturday. The event will feature teams from seven institutions.
While competing in its sixth competition this season, the Concordia turned in its second best score of 2022. Led by Brenden Ingram, the Bulldogs earned a score of 75.9 and placed third out of 10 teams at the York College Invitational.
While in action at the Bethel Invite, the Bulldogs produced their top score of the 2022 season and placed fifth out of 11 teams. Shelby Timmerman shined as Concordia posted three scores of 72.97 or better on the weekend.
Concordia Cheer keeps on crushing it. The Bulldogs defeated Doane in a dual on Thursday and then proceeded to place second out of seven teams at the Midland Invite. Concordia had been coming off a win in a home triangular on Wednesday.
With a theme of #212 for 2024, Concordia Competitive Cheer aspires to heat things up this winter. The Bulldogs return two-time All-GPAC performer Shelby Timmerman from last season's team that placed third in the GPAC.
