Concordia men move up to 13th in latest NAIA Top 25 Poll
The Concordia University men’s cross country team moved up a spot in the latest NAIA Top 25 Poll that was released Wednesday. The Bulldogs moved from 14th to 13th following their performance in last weekend’s Woody Greeno Invite in Lincoln.
Concordia finished fourth in the highly competitive college division of the Woody Greeno Invite. A total of 21 teams competed in the college division. Colin Morrissey (Omaha, Neb.) led the way with a third place finish. Morrissey ran a time of 25:38.27 and earned his second straight GPAC Runner-of-the-Week award for his efforts. Ben Sievert (Frankenmuth, Mich.), Hayden Hohnholt (Saratoga, Wyo.) and Beau Billings (Valentine, Neb.) also finished in the top 30 overall for the Bulldogs.
Morningside College, Dordt College and Mount Marty College are all receiving votes in this week’s Top 25.
The Bulldogs travel to Minnesota this weekend to compete in the Roy Griak Invite.
