This year’s national championship field is set to include 36 teams and 74 individual qualifiers on the men’s side and 36 teams and 84 individual qualifiers on the women’s side. The Concordia men had hoped to earn an at-large bid but was one of the final teams left out of the field (based on the final NAIA coaches’ poll). During Beisel’s tenure (2016-present), the women’s program has qualified for nationals three times as a team.
Below is a breakdown of the seasons and careers to date of Green and Hendrickson. Green ran at the 2023 cross country national meet along with her teammates. Meanwhile, Hendrickson placed 36th at the 2024 NAIA national meet and earned All-America status. Both Green and Hendrickson are capable of claiming medals (top 40 overall) this Friday. The Bulldogs came away with an All-America award in back-to-back years thanks to Kylahn Freiberg in 2023 and Hendrickson in 2024.
