The GPAC champion Concordia women's cross country team is officially an NAIA national qualifier. The Bulldogs earned an automatic berth to the NAIA national stage due to last week's performance.
History was made when the Concordia Women's team took home a first place finish in the GPAC Championship. The men placed fifth and now reflect on an overall positive season.
The Concordia cross country teams enter the GPAC championships with lofty goals. The women are one of the favorites while the men have hopes of outperforming their current GPAC ranking.
After three weeks without a meet, the Bulldogs returned to action and won a title on the women's side and placed third on the men's side while competing at the Mount Marty Invite on Saturday (Oct. 26).
Freshman Baile Vanarsdall has been named the GPAC Runner of the Week. She joins teammates Amie Martin and Rebekah Hinrichs as the third Bulldog to earn the award this season.
It was an unusual meet at the Briar Cliff Invite, but the Bulldogs found positive to take away from Adams Nature Preserve in North Sioux City, S.D. It was the first meet as a nationally-ranked team for the Concordia women.
For the first time since 2015, the Concordia women's cross country team has cracked the NAIA top 25 poll. The Bulldogs checked in at No. 17 in Thursday (Oct. 3)'s release following a first-place claim at the Dean White Invite.
Senior Rebekah Hinrichs starred while leading Concordia to a first-place finish at the Dean White Invite on Sept. 28. As a result, she has been named the GPAC Runner of the Week.
This was a major breakthrough for the Concordia women's cross country team, which unseated conference favorite Dordt on Saturday (Sept. 28) and placed first at the Dean White Invite.
More than 50 years after beginning his time as a student-athlete at Concordia, Dr. Ronald Bork is set for induction into the Concordia Athletic Hall of Fame. Bork was a pioneer when it came to distance running.
