OLATHE, Kan. – Another trophy has been secured by the Concordia University, Nebraska Competitive Dance team. The Bulldogs placed second overall out of seven teams in action at the MidAmerica Nazarene University Duals on Saturday (Feb. 15). Broken down further, Concordia won a triangular with Benedictine College (Kan.) and the University of Saint Mary (Kan.) and emerged victorious from a dual with Baker University (Kan.). The Bulldogs posted respective scores of 82.2 and 80.75 in Olathe, Kan.

The MNU Duals marked the fifth competition of the season for Head Coach Mandi Maser’s squad. The Bulldogs competed in duals events in back-to-back weekends.

“Today pushed our team to achieve great scores and perform extremely well through adversity,” Maser said. “We came together and are even stronger. Lots of great moments of excellence on the floor today in both performances by all eight dancers. I will say that one of our freshmen stood out today, Bianca Romshek. She has a lot of skills to hit throughout the routine and keeps getting better every competition. I am excited to see us continue to grow and increase the scores to stay in the hunt nationally.”
