
SEWARD, Neb. – Conference championships are nearing for the Concordia University, Nebraska Competitive Cheer and Dance teams. The 2025 GPAC Championship competition will unfold on Friday (March 7) for dance and on Saturday (March 8) for cheer. For the first time in the history of the GPAC Championships, the Bulldogs will serve as the host. Doane hosted the conference competition in each of the previous four years. The complete schedule for the eight GPAC dance squads is outlined below.

Leading up to the championship competition, Head Coach Mandi Maser’s dance squad has competed in six events. Among the highlights, the Bulldogs placed third at the York Crown Classic and second at the MidAmerica Nazarene Duals, earning trophies for both performances. Concordia’s season high score of 85.7 was achieved at the Concordia Duals on Feb. 8. The Bulldogs currently rank ninth in the NAIA in terms of average competition score (81.34) out of 44 programs that have reported scores in 2025.

Jan. 18 – Won vs. CSM (80.7)
Jan. 25 – Placed 3rd at CIT
Feb. 7 – Placed 3rd/17 (83.77) at York Crown Classic
Feb. 8 – Won vs. William Penn (85.7); won vs. St. Ambrose JV (85.55); placed fourth overall at Concordia Duals
Feb. 15 – Won vs. Benedictine/Saint Mary (82.20); won vs. Baker (80.75); placed 2nd overall (162.95) at MidAmerica Nazarene Duals
Feb. 22 – Placed 5th/10 (75.2) at Dordt Invite
At the 2024 GPAC Championship/NAIA Northwest Qualifier, the Bulldogs placed sixth overall (fifth among GPAC squads). The top five place finishers were Midland (91.50), Doane (86.66), Viterbo (85.42), Morningside (83.53) and Dordt (81.97). Viterbo will no longer compete in the GPAC Championships. Concordia standouts Ryleigh Flesner and Hanna Bitner earned 2024 GPAC All-Conference awards.
