FREMONT, Neb. – The Concordia dance team competed at the NAIA North Regional Qualifier on Friday afternoon. The squad finished in sixth place with a score of 90.33.
Head coach Heather Duff said, “We are proud of the girls for all their hard work throughout the season. We were happy to move up a place in our regional ranking compared to last year.”
The Bulldogs finished sixth of seven, topping previous dual opponent, Doane. The host school, Midland took first place. The field of competition featured six GPAC schools, including Midland, Morningside, Briar Cliff, Hastings, Concordia and Doane. Grand View University also competed at the qualifier.
The Concordia dance team will now wait until Monday, Feb. 29 to see if they made the National Meet in Davenport, Iowa. The competition will be held on March 12.
