2024 NAIA Competitive Dance All-Americans
SEWARD, Neb. – In another sign of the program’s progress, Concordia University Competitive Dance landed three athletes on the list of 2024 NAIA All-Americans released on Thursday (April 4) by the NAIA. The All-American Bulldogs are second teamers in freshman Hanna Bitner and sophomore Ryleigh Flesner and third teamer in sophomore Taylor Larsen. Flesner has garnered second team accolades for the second year in a row.
All-Americans are determined based on a demonstrated ability of specific advanced skills and are judged using an NAIA scoring rubric that includes a 1-5 scoring system. All-America candidates are scored based on their ability to execute leaps, triple pirouette and turn and audition combinations.
A native of Greeley, Colo., Flesner has enjoyed a terrific first two seasons at Concordia. She’s now a two-time NAIA All-American and two-time GPAC All-Conference performer. Meanwhile Bitner (Valentine, Neb.) and Larsen (Ravenna, Neb.) have been named All-Americans for the first time in their careers. Bitner joined Flesner with 2024 All-GPAC team honors. Collectively, they helped Head Coach Mandi Maser’s squad average a competition score of 80.57 in 2024 (10th best in the NAIA).
