2025 CSC Academic All-America Football Teams
SEWARD, Neb. – For his work in the trenches and in the classroom, Concordia University, Nebraska senior center Brevin Damrow has been honored as a 2025 Academic All-American by College Sports Communicators (CSC). Damrow was named the 25-member NAIA Academic All-America Team announced on Tuesday (Jan. 27). The Bulldog Football program has had an Academic All-American in back-to-back years as Damrow followed Jablonski in 2024.
The 2025 Academic All-America® Football Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Student-athletes must achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher in order to be nominated for this award. Nominees also had to meet specific requirements in terms of games played and games started during the 2025 season. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
In taking over the center role in 2025, Damrow started all 10 games in helping anchor a stout offensive line. Collectively, the group allowed only three sacks all season and paved the way for the Concordia offense to average 34.8 points and 396.2 yards per game. Damrow was named a First Team All-GPAC award winner. The Bulldogs finished 2025 at 7-3 and received votes in the NAIA postseason coaches’ poll. A native of Plymouth, Neb., Damrow was tabbed Academic All-District for 2025 and is a three-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete. Damrow is majoring in Secondary Education.
On Jan. 6, eight Bulldog Football student-athletes were named Academic All-District by CSC. Damrow was joined on the list by teammates Luke Penrod, Jonny Puelz, Calvin Sassaman, Terry Sebek, Jaden Seier, Gideon Stark and Adam Van Cleave.
